In partnership with Black Brighton Market, the Pan-African Creative Exchange (PACE) brings you a vibrant market place featuring arts & craft stalls, pop up performances, a cultural cafe and a drop in advice salon for the local creative community. PLUS A VERY SPECIAL PERFORMANCE AT 3.30pm WITH GUEST VOCALIST KYMARAKymara will take you on a journey through her life. Her music is a combination of Nina Simones s storytelling songs, DAngelos soulfulness and the purity and rawness of Janis Joplin....not to be missed!Way beyond being just a series of amazing exhibitions, talks, masterclasses, screenings, performances and networking events, the PACE programme for the Culture ConneX Festival Season is a place to share ideas and best practice, to build partnerships and to foster collaboration. It offers a unique space to make new connections and to renew old ones, with Ironworks Studios playing host to a very special creative hub. Look out for a range of pop up activities around the main programme including the PACE Late Lounge, and be sure to make the most out of this groundbreaking initiative to widen participation and create new pathways for more diverse communities to be a part of the citys mainstream arts arena.

Kate Copstick’s charity, Mama Biashara, works with the poorest and most marginalised people in Kenya. They give grants to set up small, sustainable businesses that bring financial independence and security. That five quid you spend on a large glass of House White? They can save someone’s life with that. And the money for a pair of Air Jordans? Will take four women and their fifteen children away from a man who is raping them and into a new life with a moneymaking business for Mum and happiness for the kids.

Theatre MAD
The Make A Difference Trust fights HIV & AIDS one stage at a time. Their UK and International grant-making strategy is based on five criteria that raise awareness, educate, and provide care and support for the most vulnerable in society. A host of fundraising events, including Bucket Collections, Late Night Cabarets, West End Eurovision, West End Bares and A West End Christmas continue to raise funds for projects both in the UK and Sub-Saharan Africa.
