'In my dream it was twilight. There were cows in a field...' A post-apocalyptic tragicomedy. Saara is a mother, an insomniac and a dreamer. Iida is an anxious pot-head with a kind heart. Set in a future where only Northern Europe is habitable, their lives change when a stranger burgles their farmhouse, unearthing painful memories. Combines archive verbatim text, translated from the Finnish language, alongside striking puppetry and immersive storytelling. This play addresses themes of motherhood, environmental crisis and the rights of disabled individuals and their families. Based on the personal memoirs of Vilma Kitulas grandmother.
