June has ambitions of going into space. Yet her reality is working in a chippy with others who just can't seem to find what they want in life. Her passion and fascination with space and science fills the shop with an imaginative quality, which in turn catches on with her colleagues and tightens the bond between them all. However, when their incomes are threatened and they are pushed further out of the shop door, the pursuit of dreams is far scarier than they might first have imagined. Fun for all the family. One Giant Leap for June is a piece of new writing by student playwright Rachel Flannagan. It's a physical theatre piece full of facts and fun aimed at children and adults.
