Based on real stories told by a survivor of the Lebanese civil war to her daughter, the play is an exploration of inter-generational trauma, and the ways humour and story-telling help us get through it, or prevent us from getting through it. With live music and a sculpture made of abandoned car bumpers, On Death Etcetera shows the richness, comedy, and tragedy of having a refugee background.
