Performance is a metaphor and allegory of the world we live in, of interconnections, of incommunicability. We live in the era of global communication, but it has never been so difficult to be understood. We do not listen with the intention of understanding, but with the intention of answering. In empathic listening, the situation is reversed: ears are used, but also eyes and heart. What if we look for the silence within us: silence that allows us to perceive without distortions, and to truly understand the heart with our ears and eyes?
