No Funny Business
  • Edinburgh Fringe

Simon Hall is a comedy writer, TV icon and national treasure, who finds himself arrested under suspicion of never having told a joke. This show follows his fall from grace through the medium of his past sketches, presented as memories and evidence for his defence. No Funny Business asks tough questions of the audience, such as are these sketches funny? Who is Simon Hall? And is this all a veiled criticism of Morecambe and Wise? This off-beat, witty and original show highlights the boundaries of comedy culminating in the comedy trial of the century.
