Following their successful dbut at the Living Record Festival, the wonderful return for a limited time with their 'ethereal, alarming - and entirely original' (The Stage) film, Nevergreen. In her short life, Rachel Carson did more than almost anyone to define and promote environmentalism as we know it today. As the earth faces its fifth mass extinction, Carson's voice rings out with even greater clarity. Nevergreen is the first iteration of the wonderful's ongoing Carson project. Produced entirely during the UK Lockdown in December 2020, it was shot on Hampstead Heath in North London; and also uses the dual settings of an artists studio, including animation, and Carsons bedroom. Nevergreen explores Carson's relationship with nature, driven by wonder and curiosity, and asks us: in what kind of world would we like to live?
