Nadine Shah has never shied away from tackling the political and the personal in her songwriting. Her discography maps emotional growth as she navigates the complexities of life and her relationships with those close to her.

Filthy Underneath, her fifth studio album, lays it all bare. Building on her musical world where she confronts the refugee crisis, gentrification and British bigotry, Filthy Underneath divulges intimate experiences of grief and rehab, magnified by a layer of cynicism. This album is a test of her musical versatility: lead single Topless Mother takes a sardonic look at Shahs experiences of therapy, sung over a driving beat, while Greatest Dancer is a theatrical, gothic dance anthem.

After an explosive start to 2024 supporting Depeche Mode on an arena tour, Shah brings her brutally honest songwriting to The Queens Hall stage.
