Set in a department store in the glamorous 1930s, the myth of Persephone and Ceres is told through music, drama, comedy and dance. A handsome young man appears from the lift in the ladies department. He asks Persephone, the store buyer's daughter, if she is going to the ball and a tale of mystery and intrigue begins, when Persephone goes to the ball and disappears. Her mother and friend Hecate search all seven of the store's floors, but are unable to find her. This multi award-winning company return to perform at the Fringe for their seventh year.
