As inspirational as she is insightful, British violinist Rachel Podger is famed for both the power and poetry of her period performances, and has led many of the worlds finest early music groups. She brought together some of the countrys most respected period performers in 2007 to found her own ensemble Brecon Baroque, which quickly established itself as a major force in early music. They bring together two poignant masterpieces by Mozart: a rarely heard chamber arrangement of the Sinfonia concertante for violin and viola, K364, and the passionate drama of the dark-hued G minor String Quintet.
