An interactive installation inviting you to reflect on the images, character portrayals and news reports that were broadcast on TV throughout the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s. What memories do you have of watching TV in that era? What programmes stand out in your mind and why? How do you think what we see on the box makes us feel about ourselves and other people? If you could step back in time and change anything about the TV programmes you experienced when you were younger what would that be?This exhibition is part of a research project exploring the influence and impact of broadcast media. Everyone is welcome to get involved " step inside the simulated Dual Standard-type 70s TV set to either take part in filmed interviews or to record your own videos or audio clips to send in. The installation also forms the backdrop for a series of pop up photo-shoots.
