Prepare to make the jump to hyperspace, as the rebel scum are back for more Star Wars nonsense at The RVT on Star Wars Day, Saturday 4th May.

From Alderaan to Tatooine, via Mandalore and across the Outer Rim, May 4th is a day of celebration for every species in the Galaxy. It's Star Wars Day and once again this year the great, the good and the totally gorgeous of the LGBTQ+ galactic cabaret scene are joining forces at our very own hive of scum and villainy, The Royal Vauxhall Tavern to raise money for every Jedi's favourite charity, Cabaret vs Cancer.

A stellar line-up of drag, cabaret and burlesque stars bringing us a selection of Star Wars themed performances that include some of your favourite heroes and villains.

Hosted by our own Jedi Master, Reece Connolly, the show includes, Me the Drag Queen, Carrot, YShee Black, Beau Jangles, Duane Nasis and more to be announced.

This year Star Wars Day is on a Saturday, so this is a late afternoon, early evening show. Doors at 4pm, show from 5pm.

Cabaret vs Cancer is an independent charity set up in 2014 by performer Rose Thorne, it raises money to help families especially children cope with the effects of cancer. Star Wars Day, May 4th is also the date for the launch of the 2024 Cabaret vs Cancer Sci Fi and Fantasy auction. Money from ticket sales will be split between the artists performing on the night and the charity. There will raffles and collections on the night with Star Wars prizes.

The Make A Difference Trust fights HIV & AIDS one stage at a time. Their UK and International grant-making strategy is based on five criteria that raise awareness, educate, and provide care and support for the most vulnerable in society. A host of fundraising events, including Bucket Collections, Late Night Cabarets, West End Eurovision, West End Bares and A West End Christmas continue to raise funds for projects both in the UK and Sub-Saharan Africa.
