Galerie Mirages is situated in the heart of the artistic village quartier of Stockbridge. The gallery is in a former 19th century bakehouse and offers an oasis of calm and creativity in the heart of the city. For our 37th festival exhibition Galerie Mirages celebrates the ancient and outstanding culture of Mali, by presenting a stunning exhibition of magnificent Dogon and Lobi bronze sculptures, examples of which inspired both Picasso and Modigliani. The exhibition also includes unique wooden carved masks, the inspirational Bogolan mudcloth textiles and the stunning geometric jewellery of the desert nomads, the Tuareg.
