An award-winning collection of micro filmpoems " all less than 90 seconds in duration " presented for the first time collectively in an extraordinary digital e-gallery. These enigmatic works arose from a collaboration between writer/theatremaker Mark C. Hewitt and digital artist Matt Parsons. Each piece is voiced by a different actor. Typically, they have a retro noir quality and are highly surrealistic in their form and construction. They were originally conceived as visual counterparts to a poem sequence and take their overarching title - 'Les Coffrets' - from the shape of the texts on the page: small boxes of 13 and a half lines surrounded by a lot of white. This Living Record e-gallery includes a one-off exclusive podcast in which the key artists discuss the ideas and processes involved in creating the works with additional input from actors who participated in the project.
