Featuring Rihab Chaieb (mezzo-soprano), Jennifer Szeto (piano) and Derek Henriques (guitar). 2018 Operalia Competition winner, Montrealer Rihab Chaieb, reconnects with her audience after eighteen months of lockdown. The three musicians perform Opera arias, Art songs and modern works in six languages including singer-songwriter Emel Mathlouthi's Kelmti Horra, which became a huge viral hit in 2011 during what has come to be known as the Arab Spring. This emotional recital concluded the 23rd artistic season of La Societe d'art vocal de Montreal presented despite Government rulings limiting audience size due to the pandemic.
