Join double act Karl Marx for an hour of communist comedyHAHA JOKING! Two works-in-progresses of stand-up comedians Karl Porter and Mark Bittlestone, separated by an interval!

Karl Porter is from Salford, Manchester and has been doing comedy for around 3 years. With a style of high energy physical comedy, full of deft act-outs, he skilfully brings to life the characters he encounters there to life, from personal trainers to football celebrations. Winning various competitions in the north west, hes definitely an act on the rise to watch out for. Hes just supported Brennan Reeces tour at The Lowry Theatre at Salford Quays.

Mark is convinced that hes the only gay man in the world doing comedy so please be respectful and dont tell him otherwise! Rapidly making a name for himself both online and in the real world (!), Mark was shortlisted for the BBC New Comedy Award in 2022 and is performing regularly in the countrys biggest comedy clubs. Their UK and International grant-making strategy is based on five criteria that raise awareness, educate, and provide care and support for the most vulnerable in society.
