Physical theatre combines with original music as 7th century Chinese Buddhist monk and scholar Xuanzang embarks on a spiritual quest to India, seeking the answer to the question, who are you?. Innovative director Huang Ying and his team are renowned for their ability to draw on Chinas cultural legacy and traditions while creating exciting contemporary productions. This Western premiere, inspired by the Ming Dynasty novel of the same name, gives Edinburgh audiences the opportunity to experience a rarely seen blend of ancient and modern in Chinese theatre and music. The Make A Difference Trust fights HIV & AIDS one stage at a time. Their UK and International grant-making strategy is based on five criteria that raise awareness, educate, and provide care and support for the most vulnerable in society. A host of fundraising events, including Bucket Collections, Late Night Cabarets, West End Eurovision, West End Bares and A West End Christmas continue to raise funds for projects both in the UK and Sub-Saharan Africa.
