At the beginning of 2020 Joe Bates (BBC Radio 4Extra, Chorts 2021 finalist) started taking anti-depressants to check if things in the world were as bleak as they seemed or whether he just had a medical condition. Turns out things really are that bleak, but now the meds have kicked in, he's feeling really positive about it all. ln this solo stand-up show he finds the upsides of bad news.

Theatre MAD
The Make A Difference Trust fights HIV & AIDS one stage at a time. Their UK and International grant-making strategy is based on five criteria that raise awareness, educate, and provide care and support for the most vulnerable in society. A host of fundraising events, including Bucket Collections, Late Night Cabarets, West End Eurovision, West End Bares and A West End Christmas continue to raise funds for projects both in the UK and Sub-Saharan Africa.
