As part of his work on a film, Yorkshire composer Gavin Bryars recorded a homeless man's song in 1971. Although not used in the film, Bryars found the recording to be unusually touching and poignant when looped. Adding a gradually evolving accompaniment, he created an iconic composition of the 20th century. This immersive performance encourages reflection about homelessness and the nature of faith and is performed in collaboration with members of the homeless community. Any donations are gratefully accepted for local homeless charities and St Patrick's Church.
