When Jenan was 13 she read a Che Guevara biography in the comfort of her Middle Class England home and decided she wanted to be just like him minus the stubble. She attended protests against sanctions, the Iraq war, boycotted every American coffee chain, and had free Palestine badges confiscated at school, daily.With the ever worsening back drop of the Middle East came an overwhelming sense of powerlessness and her campaigning took a backseat. Now as an adult her only similarity to Che Guevara was her facial hair. But in 2014, an unreported genocide hit her ancestral homeland, putting up and shutting up was no longer an option. BBC New Voices Winner, star of BBC Radio Jenans Comedy Hour, 99 Comedy Club Bursary Nominee, Jenan brings you a show about what its like to revive what you stand for in a world of selective empathy.

Theatre MAD
The Make A Difference Trust fights HIV & AIDS one stage at a time. Their UK and International grant-making strategy is based on five criteria that raise awareness, educate, and provide care and support for the most vulnerable in society. A host of fundraising events, including Bucket Collections, Late Night Cabarets, West End Eurovision, West End Bares and A West End Christmas continue to raise funds for projects both in the UK and Sub-Saharan Africa.
