James Tait Black Prize for Drama 2016: The Award Ceremony
  • Edinburgh Fringe

Join us for this special event, presented by the University of Edinburgh in association with Playwrights Studio Scotland and the Traverse Theatre. The 10,000 prize celebrates plays that display an original theatrical voice, written in English, Scots or Gaelic. Extracts from the three shortlisted dramas will be performed by a professional cast on stage, followed by an interview with each nominated playwright. The winner will be revealed on the night. The drama prize is the most recent category of the world-renowned James Tait Black Prizes, the UKs oldest literary awards.
