Isadora Duncan was a trailblazer whose inspiration transformed the dance world. Her free, expressive movement both enthralled and shocked audiences and her unconventional private life scandalised society. She elevated dance from mere entertainment to a life-enhancing art form and her message, that we should take our inspiration for life and art directly from nature, is very relevant in today's digital world, where people are often disconnected from nature and from each other. The play includes re-imagined excerpts of some of her iconic dances and glimpses of her struggle to reconcile love and art.
