Inverleith House is delighted to present the first UK exhibition outside London by one of the great living artists of our time, Isa Genzken. It features recent work, displayed in the seven naturally lit rooms of Inverleith House, overlooking the landscaped grounds of the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh. In the last 15 years, her work has focused on the urban " combining aspects of photography, collage and cheap ready-made objects, from plastic toys and fake flowers to kitchen appliances and shop mannequins, to create highly distinctive sculptural assemblages, which are at once poetic, humorous and disturbing.
