A haunting tale of a woman on the edge, entangled by her raw love and lust for three women. This feature-length film explores what it is to be a gay woman in her twenties, carrying all the heartache of a lifetime. A cinematic dreamscape of dance, physical theatre and poetry. This colourful, moving tableaux, full of discomfort, sets the scene for a sexually-driven, tantalising, gut-wrenching coming-of-age story. Poetry from Chloe Akasha Carsons Lamentations, narrates this bittersweet tale of discovery and woe. Created for premiere at Brighton Fringe 2021, the entire project was dreamed up, filmed and edited in only two weeks during the Covid-19 lockdown. Director and dancer Chloe suffers from a neurological disorder, causing heart issues, seizures and visual problems, making this physically demanding piece a huge challenge - a true sacrifice for art.
