HOT THEY SUMMER @ RVT (by The Enby Show)
  • London Fringe

Get your swimming cozzies out, drench yourself in factor 50 and prepare to BATHE in the bright non-binary talent appearing at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern this July for The Enby Show: HOT THEY SUMMER!

Dress up (or down), and prepare for inflatable palm trees, pina coladas and giant sunglasses, plus the usual chaotic, joyful and strange performance art of a camp ol' Enby Show. Along with DJ Mynxie on the decks after the show keeping that summer breeze a-blowing, we are honoured to have an incredible lineup of non-binary cabaret ROYALTY:

Lolo Brow, iconic drag queen nut and lizard lady recognised as being at the forefront of neo burlesqueShivani Dave, broadcaster, journalist, award-winning podcaster and comedianLusty Lovelace, multilingual drag creature and eco costume storytellerCarrot, chaotic drag vegetable, singer and host. A bit like if Su Pollard was a twink from the south. More acts to be announced plus a newcomer spot to platform fresh enby talent (keep an eye on our socials @TheEnbyShow )

and as mentioned, the show will be followed by a HOT summer DJ set of queer and trans CHOONS by Mynxie, who'll keep us dancing until bedtime!

DRESS CODE: Dress as summery as you feel comfortable! Swimming costumes are more than encouraged. Get those gorgeous non-binary bodies out! RVT has a clothing/bag check if you, for some bizarre reason, don't wanna travel there in a bikini. Please note: Shoes are essential at all times.

ABOUT THE ENBY SHOW

As recommended by TimeOut London The Enby Show is a chaotic all-non-binary performance collective bringing together the creme-de-la-thems of cabaret, creating variety shows popping with trans & non-binary finery in solo and group spectaculars. They've performed up and down the country on stages big and small; from national Prides to basement bars, from West End stages to karaoke venues, they've graced all kinds of spaces with their enby excellence. Expect the unexpected and f*ck the cis-tem.

Since you’re here…

… we have a small favour to ask. We don't want your money to support a hack's bar bill at Abattoir, but if you have a pound or two spare, we really encourage you to support a good cause. If this review has either helped you discover a gem or avoid a turkey, consider doing some good that will really make a difference.

You can donate to the charity of your choice, but if you're looking for inspiration, there are three charities we really like.

Mama Biashara
Kate Copstick’s charity, Mama Biashara, works with the poorest and most marginalised people in Kenya. They give grants to set up small, sustainable businesses that bring financial independence and security. That five quid you spend on a large glass of House White? They can save someone’s life with that. And the money for a pair of Air Jordans? Will take four women and their fifteen children away from a man who is raping them and into a new life with a moneymaking business for Mum and happiness for the kids.

Theatre MAD
The Make A Difference Trust fights HIV & AIDS one stage at a time. Their UK and International grant-making strategy is based on five criteria that raise awareness, educate, and provide care and support for the most vulnerable in society. A host of fundraising events, including Bucket Collections, Late Night Cabarets, West End Eurovision, West End Bares and A West End Christmas continue to raise funds for projects both in the UK and Sub-Saharan Africa.
