An eight-hour performance installation, using materials, text, song, sound, and movement to bring together plant, human and machine. Drawing on practices of weaving, pattern singing, and textile machines, Karen Christopher (Goat Island) and Tara Fatehi Irani work together to construct a machine of wood, rope, sheep wool, and 100 forgotten questions. The room becomes a loom, where songs and dances encapsulate themes of patience and perseverance. The seventh hour (17:30-18:30) is a thicker weave, a one-hour performance. Book the installation plus performance, or an installation-only ticket to come and go throughout the day (excluding 17-30-18:30).
