Homeless is a devised show about a group of vulnerable young people who have formed a fragile community, while living on the street. Ten characters each have their own story to tell about their past experiences, their current challenges and the dreams they have about escaping their present situation. The show was inspired by the National Theatre production of Home, written by Nadia Falls, and was first performed at Shiplake College near Henley-on-Thames, earlier this year. This is Scruffy Penguin's first appearance at the Edinburgh Fringe and the show includes a cappella singing with physical theatre.
