This new theatre piece looks at the four heroines from the classical theatrical canon: Nora from Ibsens Dolls House, Julie from Strindbergs Miss Julie, Hedda from Ibsens Hedda Gabler and Nina from Chekovs Seagull. These four women meet and talk about their dreams, desires and everything in between. Apart from the original plays, the adaptation uses letters between Ibsen and Strindberg, Chekovs diaries, short stories and other secondary literature to create a vibrant, new theatre piece. The piece is being presented by BYTE (BackYardTheatreEnsemble), an independent company producing theatre dedicated to devised, issue-based work nationally.

Their UK and International grant-making strategy is based on five criteria that raise awareness, educate, and provide care and support for the most vulnerable in society.
