Hansel and Gretel by Engelbert Humperdinck is a delicious operatic treat - set to a sumptuously rich score, sprinkled with comedy, adventure, and more tunes than you can shake a candy cane at, this show follows the classic story by the Brothers Grimm and features all the familiar characters but with a few surprises! Updated to the 1950s, this show explore the hunger for food and fame, what's good and healthy for us, and what's too good to be true...Opera Kipling have been performing since 2019 with their previous shows; Cosi Fan Tutte 2019/2022 and La Cenerentola 2023. Each show has presented an original re-telling of classic Operas, with an aim to make their shows as accessible as possible, whilst maintaining the highest level of vocal performance. "Hansel and Gretel" is a captivating opera that brings to life the classic Brothers Grimm fairy tale in a mesmerizing musical experience. Composed by Engelbert Humperdinck with a libretto by his sister, Adelheid Wette, the opera tells the tale of two siblings, Hansel and Gretel, who find themselves lost in the forest andOpera never tasted so sweet!

Their UK and International grant-making strategy is based on five criteria that raise awareness, educate, and provide care and support for the most vulnerable in society.
