Internationally renowned artist Concha Vidal presents an evocative site-specific performance in a hairdressing salon. Journey into the labyrinths of memory, through myriads of wigs and hairdos. A testimony, a confession. A space for objects to bring out what their owners do not dare say; secrets, frustrations, violence and triumphs. Hairstyles " messy, clean, untamed, coiffured " reflect what we want to show or hide. Hair is a way to invent ourselves. A way to inhabit the world. To loose ones hair is almost like losing oneself. Cutting it becomes a kind of sacrifice, a symbolic castration.
