This workshop will explore how connecting with nature and the seasons can help us as queer carers with busy, often isolated, lives. Creative facilitator Jules McGee-Russell (they/them) will share their experiences of combating loneliness through rituals of nature appreciation and connection. They will lead us through visualisation exercises that engage the senses, followed by a discussion space where we can share our experiences of connection with nature.
We will start the session with an icebreaker question: What part of the natural world did you notice this week? Everyone is welcome to bring an item to show leaves, rocks, or anything else! This grounding space is for LGBTQ+ people who have provided care for loved ones, whether currently or in the past.
