After years of torment from an evil spirit, the goodly Reverend Mister Jennings can take it no longer and takes the decision to confide in philosophic physician, Dr Martin Hesselius. Through their conversations, Jennings reveals the devious nature of his captor and how he has come to be its unwilling slave. Delving into the depths of his craft, Doctor Hesselius works tirelessly to exorcise the spirit that has fastened upon the Reverend, before its too late.
