Task: Have an existential crisis completed! Task: Stop having an existential crisis failed. In a sort-of place at a sort-of time, Godot sits on a wooden stool, sort-of existing. He's late to a meeting with his friends and wants to leave. Unfortunately, this isnt possible until he completes everything on his To-Do List, dictated to him by a snarky, omniscient voice from the ether. Godots To-Do List is a Waiting for Godot spoof, asking what on earth Godot couldve been doing to be that late to meeting his friends. Throughout the play, Godot is given seemingly meaningless tasks to complete, all with unique, humorous, and unexpected solutions. Its a dark absurdist comedy that questions the meaning of life, and whether all of our actions - past, present, and future - are just one big to-do list. This production marks Leo Simpe-Asante's (GODOT) professional writing and directing debut. He is studying Musical Theatre at RCSSD. His play Cock Ups was shortlisted for and received a rehearsed reading at INK 2025. His debut musical 'Penelope' was shortlisted for BEAM 2025, the biennial showcase for new British musical theatre. Described as "one of the most exciting young voices" in the application process, he was selected to present an Artist Spotlight at the conference. Milly Thorpe (TO-DO LIST) is thrilled to return to the Camden Fringe in this compelling two-hander play. After graduating from the Mountview acting foundation last year, she is currently studying Musical Theatre at RCSSD. Past productions include (VOICE) written and directed by Ethan Conroy-Simm which was put on at the Etcetera Theatre for Camden Fringe 2024. Performed as Hamlet for Mountviews Shakespeare project.Jay Kavanagh (Co-Director) is a newcomer to the Camden Fringe.
