God Save the Kink - Pink Pound Me!
  • London Fringe

Protest is illegal! Kink is banned at pride! There's a big queer party and only a few are invited. Remember the good old days of throwing bricks and shagging in the street? Well why throw bricks when you can throw money at cheap rainbow merch instead? Trans rights may be under attack but at least Tesco thinks being gay is cool for 30 days a year!

Pride month beckons, and LETITIA DELISH wants something to be angry about. But theres one thing Letitia loves more than a fight, and that's cold hard cash! Join London's tastiest tart as she is prepared to sell out on every scruple she has, all in the name of loving yourself. A healthy dose of shame is the only thing that will make this year's capitalist, pearl clutching, corporate fag fest just a little more bearable. And remember, you can be whoever you want to be, as long as it looks respectable on a branded instagram post

Special guest is Top of the Slops icon and Drag Idol Semi Finalist, AMAYA NAPA! Come get a good pink pounding, Pride is a sin after all!

God Save the Kink is an anarchic cabaret experiment from the twisted mind of international fetish fiend, Letitia Delish (Lip Sync 1000 Finalist, Drag Idol Semi Finalist). After a sell out performance at the Kings Head Theatre, she returns to the Karaoke Hole for the sexiest, unbridled chaos. Sit back as she delves into the untapped queer kink potential of everyday life. In their 2 hour solo extravaganza expect music, games and filth in a celebration of rejecting shame and embracing your inner freak!

Early bird tickets are available for 10, before rising to 13 (and on the door). Doors open at 4pm, show at 5pm.This event is 21+, please bring ID. Featuring strong language, adult themes and nudity. Please note the venue is NOT wheelchair accessible. For any access needs, please get in touch and we will be happy to accommodate

Since you’re here…

… we have a small favour to ask. We don't want your money to support a hack's bar bill at Abattoir, but if you have a pound or two spare, we really encourage you to support a good cause. If this review has either helped you discover a gem or avoid a turkey, consider doing some good that will really make a difference.

You can donate to the charity of your choice, but if you're looking for inspiration, there are three charities we really like.

Mama Biashara
Kate Copstick’s charity, Mama Biashara, works with the poorest and most marginalised people in Kenya. They give grants to set up small, sustainable businesses that bring financial independence and security. That five quid you spend on a large glass of House White? They can save someone’s life with that. And the money for a pair of Air Jordans? Will take four women and their fifteen children away from a man who is raping them and into a new life with a moneymaking business for Mum and happiness for the kids.

Theatre MAD
The Make A Difference Trust fights HIV & AIDS one stage at a time. Their UK and International grant-making strategy is based on five criteria that raise awareness, educate, and provide care and support for the most vulnerable in society. A host of fundraising events, including Bucket Collections, Late Night Cabarets, West End Eurovision, West End Bares and A West End Christmas continue to raise funds for projects both in the UK and Sub-Saharan Africa.
