Geezer Bird
  • Edinburgh Fringe

Shunning dresses and dolls, donning a football kit and picking up a cricket bat at the age of three were early signs. After being called a geezer bird by a well-known comedian, Karen explores all that this entails, including being thrown out of the Brownies and a night club for unladylike behaviour and the struggles of learning to flirt. A very good act (Jasper Carrot). Warm bright and funny (Rory Bremner). Inspired, sparkling punchlines ... comic timing rarely less than brilliant (Chortle.co.uk).
