CALLING ALL LGBTQ+ MIGRANTS! Are you ready to share your story through music, acting, and dance? Join us for a series of FREE workshops celebrating the resilience and creativity of LGBTQ+ migrants, brought to you by The Love Tank and The Copla Cabaret! Well explore the powerful Copla genre , a Spanish music style once repressed but reclaimed by queer communities, and use it to tell your story! Whether youre a seasoned performer or new to the stage, this is your chance to connect, create, and express yourself. Workshop Dates: - Nov 7, 8-10 PM: Watch The Copla Cabaret @ The Cockpit Theatre (we will cover your ticket fees) - Nov 9, 2:30-5 PM: Debrief & share your stories @ The Love Tank - Nov 20, 6:30-9 PM: Develop your own stories through music & drama @ The Love Tank All workshops are FREE! After the initial 3 sessions we will move to the next stage in 2025, where well create our own migrant cabaret together! To join, fill out the form below by 6th of November 2024. Theatre MAD
The Make A Difference Trust fights HIV & AIDS one stage at a time. Their UK and International grant-making strategy is based on five criteria that raise awareness, educate, and provide care and support for the most vulnerable in society. A host of fundraising events, including Bucket Collections, Late Night Cabarets, West End Eurovision, West End Bares and A West End Christmas continue to raise funds for projects both in the UK and Sub-Saharan Africa.
