Supported by the Polar Academy, their school and their families, 10 young people from Bathgate Academy committed fully to a programme that included regular physical training over the last year. The charity prepared them to haul a 45kg sledge, navigate, camp, cook and ski across the wilds of Greenland in temperatures as low as -30C. Now you can walk in their shoes and experience the self-guided 100km, 10-day expedition in Eastern Greenland. You can feel the cold on your face, walk in deep snow and sleep in just a tent in very low temperatures!
