8000 years ago Doggerland was a rich and fertile land stretched between the UK and mainland Europe. Remnants of its drowned people still wash up in Dutch fishing nets. If you take a walk along the shifting Norfolk marshes at low tide, you might be lucky and stumble upon one of their broken trinkets. You have your own private Doggerland. We all do.You are invited to a presentation about its secrets. This may include multiple-choice, maps, spilt drinks, bastardised bardolatry and a touch of cabaret. Please sign the waiver.Do not be alarmed,Your safety is our priority.Doggerland is about boundaries, real and imaginary, and how they shape our experience of being human. It is about the arbitrary notion of political borders, the implications of ecological barriers, the threshold of our inner world and the porous nature of skin. The performance takes the form of an absurd lecture/presentation on the history of Doggerland with audience interaction. This event is co-badged with Festival of Europe
