Disrupted Rhythms is a collaborative multimedia project suited to an era of disrupted rhythms, economic crises, pandemics, social upheavals and global political uncertainty. Disrupted Rhythmsis a poetic phenomenological investigation into this sense of disruption. Since 2020, a group of musicians, dancers, essayists, filmmakers, costume designers and photographers began a collaborative venture to explore the nature of rhythms, and their disruption, by creating, over a ten year period, a series of dance inspired happenings, and documenting them via film, photography and essays. Tonight, they will be bringing all aspects of this project together: Film, photography, live performance, and a live improvised score orchestrated by Nick Hudson (The Academy of Sun). Disrupted Rhythms is an Exploding Appendix project (www.explodingappendix.com). Exploding Appendix is a community based avant-garde art group based in Brighton who meet every three weeks on a Tuesday at the Southern Belle.

Theatre MAD
The Make A Difference Trust fights HIV & AIDS one stage at a time. Their UK and International grant-making strategy is based on five criteria that raise awareness, educate, and provide care and support for the most vulnerable in society. A host of fundraising events, including Bucket Collections, Late Night Cabarets, West End Eurovision, West End Bares and A West End Christmas continue to raise funds for projects both in the UK and Sub-Saharan Africa.
