Mr. Lveill is a choreographer from Montreal who both challenges and exposes his dancers, often with intricate, exhausting choreography and by denying them clothes. His latest work to come to New York, "Solitudes solo," part of the Abrons Arts Center's new dance series Travelogues, uses physical risk to tap into a more emotional nakedness. The series of solos performed by five dancers, and set to aching Bach sonatas, is a strenuous study in loneliness.
