This crowd-pleasing company, led by Dwight Rhoden and Desmond Richardson, celebrates its 20th anniversary with an assortment of premieres and returning works. New this season are Mr. Rhoden's "Head Space," set to tracks by the New Orleans jazz trumpeter Terence Blanchard; "The Groove," inspired by 1980s house music; and "Igual," a reflection on marriage equality by the American Ballet Theater principal Marcelo Gomes. A gala performance on Thursday features another Ballet Theater star, Misty Copeland, in Mr. Rhoden's "Ave Maria." Tickets for Thursday's gala are available at 212-777-7771.
