Can you write a wrong? Collaborators is an award winning, sharp, surrealist fantasy whichfocuses on the relationship between two real life historical figures: the prominent Russian writer Mikhail Bulgakov, and the infamous SovietUnion dictator, Joseph Stalin. Depicting the trials and tribulations of a writer being forced to writethrough writer's block with a metaphorical (and at times literal) gun tohis head, Collaborators mixes the satire of JoJo Rabbit, with the darkreality of life in Stalinist Russia during the Great Purge. Join Bulgakov as he journeys from his (over)crowded apartment into alethal game of cat and mouse through which the appallingcompromises and humiliations on any artist by those with power areheld up to scrutiny.
