Club de Fromage
  • Brighton Fringe

Returning once more to Brighton Fringe, after consecutive sell-out shows, it's time again to romp through the decades with Londons legendary pop time machine! Expect huge anthems, madcap stage show, hula hooping, confetti cannons plus the finest pop, rock, disco and power ballads known to humanity. Chuck in some carefully curated visuals and you've the perfect confection for the kind of party only Fromage can throw. After the recent announcement that restrictions have not been lifted on 21 June our scheduled club and dance events will be a little different - but still great fun! Along with enjoying your favourite DJs and music with your friends there will be performances, games and demo activities. In the current Step 3 there is no social dancing or communal singing. Events remain at half capacity and we will be following social distancing rules until these are lifted by the Government. You will need to remain seated at your table for the duration of your visit " in the Spiegeltent or outside. Youll be able to enjoy the entertainment and try out our great selection of drinks and food during your visit from the comfort of your table. Orders can be placed and paid for on your phone, or with our servers for payment by card, cash or maybe glass beads. You may have seen the Fromage crew at Glastonbury, Hammersmith Apollo or during their 15 year (and counting) London run, if not prepare to interact with Slow Alfie and his anarchic disco divas as they chuck out the rule-book on what a pop night should look like. Don't take our word for it though, here are some things the press have said: The euphoric high energy London institution (Time Out) Fancy dress, theatrics and a downright shameless music policy (Evening Standard)

Since you’re here…

… we have a small favour to ask. We don't want your money to support a hack's bar bill at Abattoir, but if you have a pound or two spare, we really encourage you to support a good cause. If this review has either helped you discover a gem or avoid a turkey, consider doing some good that will really make a difference.

You can donate to the charity of your choice, but if you're looking for inspiration, there are three charities we really like.

Mama Biashara
Kate Copstick’s charity, Mama Biashara, works with the poorest and most marginalised people in Kenya. They give grants to set up small, sustainable businesses that bring financial independence and security. That five quid you spend on a large glass of House White? They can save someone’s life with that. And the money for a pair of Air Jordans? Will take four women and their fifteen children away from a man who is raping them and into a new life with a moneymaking business for Mum and happiness for the kids.

Theatre MAD
The Make A Difference Trust fights HIV & AIDS one stage at a time. Their UK and International grant-making strategy is based on five criteria that raise awareness, educate, and provide care and support for the most vulnerable in society. A host of fundraising events, including Bucket Collections, Late Night Cabarets, West End Eurovision, West End Bares and A West End Christmas continue to raise funds for projects both in the UK and Sub-Saharan Africa.
