Bullet in the Brain is a devised play from the short story of the same name by Tobias Wolff. It is the story of a man named Anders, a book critic, who experiences one final memory after being shot in the head during a bank robbery. The action on stage, accompanied by projected images, transitions into a series of vignettes that reveal, in random order, moments of Anders life, allowing the audience to begin to play the part of a detective, piecing together the evidence of Anders' character.
