Blizzard Comedy LIVE, featuring Richard Stott
  • UK Regional & Tours

We are returning to Gullivers on Monday 11th March for another line-up of awesome comedians.

Come along and see...

Headline act
Richard Stott
Richard Stott, as seen on Comedy Central Live and ITV2 Stand Up Sketch Show, plying his brand of anarchic storytelling and acerbic one liners across the country. Gaining interest for his take on his disability Stott has been listed in Top 10 Jokes of the Fringe by Dave TV, The Guardian and The Times.

"Brilliant" - Zoe Ball

With support from
Mel Judson
Mel Judson is the Yorkshire comedian known for her signature style of dry and deadpan filth. Hilariously cynical, she breaks down boundaries and shows the absolute joy that can come from the unconventional and unexpected. With her infectious no-holds-barred honesty and unapologetic philosophy for happiness, Mel never fails to shock, entertain and amuse.

Surprising, funny and just delightful. Daliso Chaponda

Gill Gee
Gill Gee, is a playful, smutty, and a self-proclaimed menopausal witch, Gill adds a touch of enchantment to her midlife crisis escapades. As a single and shamelessly embarrassing mom, she leaves audiences spellbound and cackling. Gill Gee: turns life's absurdities into a bewitchingly funny experience. Gill also loves her cat.

Runner up kung fu pug new comedian of the year 2023

Youre grounded - Gill's Mum
Youre so embarrassing" - Gill's Son
Meow - Gill's Cat

and Josh Sedman
Josh was born and raised in Leeds but dont let that put you off. With stories and one liners, he works his way thru football, relationships and much more. Being described as both enthusiastic and dry you can only hope they were talking about his jokes. Josh has recently been crowned Cat and Stick comedys new comedian of the year.

"Confident, cheeky and charismatic. Great gags and a lovely rapport with the audience, who enjoyed the set from start to finish" - SB Comedy Sessions

with host Jonny Collins
Jonny Collins is an aggressively inclusive Non-Binary comedian, Jonny pulls no punches yet makes everyone feel welcome and represented in their thought provoking, and well constructed deconstructions of gender, sexuality and politics. With radical leftist ideals and a fast and furious delivery style, Jonny Collins is a favourite of socialists, anarchists, feminists (of the trans inclusive variety), and queer activists alike.

Jonny is a force of nature on stage. A whirlwind of hilarity with a unique viewpoint, they energy and passion personified. XS Malarkey

"Jonny Collins is deceptively rapid-fire, with a gag rate that would shame most one-line merchants. They can bring a simmer to a boil with ease, and make a huge mess of your kitchen." James Ross (Quantum Leopard)

As always, this show is free to book, with a pay-what-you-want option on the door by either cash or card.

Since you’re here…

… we have a small favour to ask. We don't want your money to support a hack's bar bill at Abattoir, but if you have a pound or two spare, we really encourage you to support a good cause. If this review has either helped you discover a gem or avoid a turkey, consider doing some good that will really make a difference.

You can donate to the charity of your choice, but if you're looking for inspiration, there are three charities we really like.

Mama Biashara
Kate Copstick’s charity, Mama Biashara, works with the poorest and most marginalised people in Kenya. They give grants to set up small, sustainable businesses that bring financial independence and security. That five quid you spend on a large glass of House White? They can save someone’s life with that. And the money for a pair of Air Jordans? Will take four women and their fifteen children away from a man who is raping them and into a new life with a moneymaking business for Mum and happiness for the kids.

Theatre MAD
The Make A Difference Trust fights HIV & AIDS one stage at a time. Their UK and International grant-making strategy is based on five criteria that raise awareness, educate, and provide care and support for the most vulnerable in society. A host of fundraising events, including Bucket Collections, Late Night Cabarets, West End Eurovision, West End Bares and A West End Christmas continue to raise funds for projects both in the UK and Sub-Saharan Africa.
