With support from
Patrick Healy
Patrick began performing when he was 18, and a year later had reached the finals of the prestigious So You Think You're Funny? and Hackney Empire New Act of the Year competitions- all while still a teenager. His dry, left-field observations, relaxed stage presence, and "idiosyncratic worldview" (London Evening Standard) have led to regular appearances at some of the country's biggest comedy clubs, which Patrick is pretty happy about.

An idiosyncratic worldview - London Evening Standard

His down-to-earth, self-deprecating humour has the crowd in stitches. Cutting a relaxed figure on-stage, he always has a small smile across his face as the audience laugh at almost everything he has to say. It is a strong guest appearance that adds variety to the show. - Wee Review

Katie Gill-Williams
Katie is a comedian and writer from North Wales who has performed across the UK, and at Machynlleth, Leicester and Manchester Women in Comedy Festivals with her show Who Now.

Katie has written for topical panel show, What Just Happened for BBC Wales and has been tour support for Rachel Fairburn during her 2023 tour Showgirl.

She also features in series two of The Learners for BBC Radio Wales. And was a finalist in Frog and Bucket World Series, 2022, and shortlisted for BBC New Comedy Awards 2023.

Katie is remarkable. She managed to nail the material, confidence and warmth of a pro comic in ten gigs when most take ten years. Joke heavy and joyful stand up packed with smart observations. - Kiri Pritchard-McLean

Mette Kousholt
Mette is the best Danish comedian in Iceland. She performs regularly in Iceland, Denmark and the UK. Currently working on her second solo show, Mette is getting deep into alternative comedy and clowning, as well as her newly diagnosed neuro divergency. Expect clever, silly and a surprising amount of arts and crafts.

Ali Panting
Ali Panting is a standup, prop comic, poet, topical joke writer commissioned by Radio 4, bitch, lover, child, mother, sinner, saint, and person who enjoys breaking into 90s pop lyrics mid sentence. Shortlisted for the Funny Women Stage Awards and British Comedian of the Year in 2023, shes been described as warm, silly and gorgeously quirky by Fem de la Fem.

with host Jonny Collins
Jonny Collins is an aggressively inclusive Non-Binary comedian, Jonny pulls no punches yet makes everyone feel welcome and represented in their thought provoking, and well constructed deconstructions of gender, sexuality and politics. With radical leftist ideals and a fast and furious delivery style, Jonny Collins is a favourite of socialists, anarchists, feminists (of the trans inclusive variety), and queer activists alike.
Jonny is a force of nature on stage. A whirlwind of hilarity with a unique viewpoint, they energy and passion personified. XS Malarkey
"Jonny Collins is deceptively rapid-fire, with a gag rate that would shame most one-line merchants. They can bring a simmer to a boil with ease, and make a huge mess of your kitchen." James Ross (Quantum Leopard)

As always, this show is free to book, with a pay-what-you-want option on the door by either cash or card.

Since you’re here…

… we have a small favour to ask. We don't want your money to support a hack's bar bill at Abattoir, but if you have a pound or two spare, we really encourage you to support a good cause. If this review has either helped you discover a gem or avoid a turkey, consider doing some good that will really make a difference.

You can donate to the charity of your choice, but if you're looking for inspiration, there are three charities we really like.

Mama Biashara
Kate Copstick’s charity, Mama Biashara, works with the poorest and most marginalised people in Kenya. They give grants to set up small, sustainable businesses that bring financial independence and security. That five quid you spend on a large glass of House White? They can save someone’s life with that. And the money for a pair of Air Jordans? Will take four women and their fifteen children away from a man who is raping them and into a new life with a moneymaking business for Mum and happiness for the kids.

Theatre MAD
The Make A Difference Trust fights HIV & AIDS one stage at a time. Their UK and International grant-making strategy is based on five criteria that raise awareness, educate, and provide care and support for the most vulnerable in society. A host of fundraising events, including Bucket Collections, Late Night Cabarets, West End Eurovision, West End Bares and A West End Christmas continue to raise funds for projects both in the UK and Sub-Saharan Africa.
