In celebration of the days getting longer and (somewhat) warmer - Bledi is proud to bring you HEAT! Get ready to sweat because we have an unmissable line up of incredible DJs and performers for our last party at the Yard (before it closes for renovations) We'll be taking over the Yard on SATURDAY 12th April (our first Saturday!) from 10:30pm til 3:30am, with tracks from across the SWANA region (South West Asia/North Africa - commonly referred to as the Middle East) There'll be our favourite stalls, legendary tunes, and iconic performances all night so don't miss it - get your tickets now! Early birds are already out!
Non-QTIBPOC allies are welcomed and encouraged to pay for the higher entry fee. Reminder that this is a space prioritising QTIBPOC, be aware of the space you are taking. We will be allocating a number of tickets for people who are low income (priority will be given to refugees and people who are seeking asylum), please email [email protected] to arrange this. There will be photographers at the event taking consented footage and photographs, but consent can be withdrawn at any time for any images/videos on the Bledi social media (just send us a DM).
Bledi is The Queer SWANA Art Space, a dedicated collective and night out centring QTIBPOC (Queer, Trans/Non-Binary, and/or Intersex, Black people and People of Colour) from the SWANA region (South West Asia/North Africa - commonly referred to as 'the Middle East'). Bledi (Arabic for My Homeland) has created a space for SWANA Queers to celebrate our lives and showcase our talents, as underrepresented artists of typically marginalised backgrounds.
