BLEDI is back for an iconic night out, with a showcase of legendary QTIBPOC DJs and performers at The Yard in Hackney Wick! Inspired by the latest Charli XCX album, we're rebirthing Bledi with a brand new venue and a combination of fresh talent and familiar faces to the LGBTQ SWANA scene
Non-QTIBPOC allies are welcomed and encouraged to pay for the higher entry fee. Reminder that this is a space prioritising QTIBPOC, be aware of the space you are taking. We will be allocating a small number of tickets for people who are low income (priority will be given to refugees and people who are seeking asylum), please email [email protected] to arrange this.
Bledi is The Queer SWANA Art Space, a dedicated collective and night out centring QTIBPOC (Queer, Trans/Non-Binary, and/or Intersex, Black people and People of Colour) from the SWANA region (South West Asia/North Africa - commonly referred to as 'the Middle East'). Bledi (Arabic for My Homeland) has created a space for SWANA Queers to celebrate our lives and showcase our talents, as underrepresented artists of typically marginalised backgrounds.
