The Orchestra of the Canongait and their conductor Robert Dick are joined for their annual Fringe concert by internationally-renowned pianist Murray McLachlan in one of the most popular works in the entire repertoire - Beethoven's mighty 'Emperor' Concerto. McLachlan was described by BBC Music Magazine as 'a pianist with a virtuoso technique', whilst the Canongait's UK premiere performance last year of Bruckner's Ninth Symphony (with 2012 Finale Performing Edition), conducted by Robert Dick, attracted rave reviews with www.bachtrack.com saying that 'the climaxes were shattering in their power'.
