Two years ago, Hollywood resurrected "Snow White" with a pair of competing films. Maybe they were inspired by the French choreographer Angelin Preljocaj's slinky 2008 version of the original Grimm's fairy tale. The painfully honest mirror and poisonous apple arrive at Lincoln Center next week, compliments of the Joyce Theater. In addition to more traditional choreography, Mr. Preljocaj stages a clever rock-climbing and rappelling dance for the seven dwarfs. And the main characters are clad in sumptuous costumes by Jean Paul Gaultier (think evil queen as dominatrix).
